October 9th Release - Courses Import, Quiz Question Updates, Project Files, and More

Bring an existing course with you

If you've built a course on another learning platform, you can now import it instead of rebuilding it.

Export your course as a Common Cartridge (the standard format most platforms offer) and upload it. Your pages become lessons, your quizzes come across with it, and images and videos come too.

Quiz questions can show a graph and images

You can put a coordinate graph on a quiz question, and learners see it above the question.

  • Visualize negative axes and all four quadrants.

  • Plot individual points, or connect them into a line.

  • Add and edit a graph from chat.

  • Graphs are read out in full, so a learner using a screen reader gets the whole picture.

Answers can be images

A quiz answer choice can now be an image instead of text.

  • Add, replace or remove an answer image in the lesson editor.

  • Learners see the images in the course player, and so do guests.

  • Your AI knows an answer is an image and talks about it properly.

  • Every image answer needs a short description before the course can go live.

Projects are here

  • Give a project its own instructions, and every chat filed under it follows them on every message.

  • Files can live inside a project, alongside its chats.

Working in two tabs

  • Opening the same chat in a second tab no longer disturbs the first one. Your session also stays alive while you're connected, and recovers by itself if it expires.

Reading and writing

  • The Artifact reader turns page by page, in its new layout.

  • The editor shows your writing on page sheets, like a word processor.

  • The outline panel can be minimized, and the minimap has a heading list you can jump from.

  • PDF exports no longer cut a page break through the middle of a line.
