October 28th Release - Notifications Update, Improved Chat, and More

Notifications that arrive instantly, a Discover that shows what's new since your last visit, and a faster, clearer chat.

Notifications, the moment they happen

A count on the bell and a card when something new arrives, without refreshing.
On the Mac app, notifications appear on your desktop and a badge shows on the Dock. You can turn them off in the app's settings.

Posts you haven't seen are marked New.
See at a glance what grew since your last visit, including new posts from people you follow.

See your AI at work: a new thinking line shows what it's doing, step by step.
Faster answers when your AI looks several things up on the web.
Your AI remembers the artifacts you made in your other chats.
Send a photo and your AI reads all of it, including the text it shows, so you can ask about it later.
A shorter chat history, with Load more when you want older chats.
In voice calls, no more suggestion buttons on screen.
Long PDFs are read even when they take a while to process.

Certificates show their artwork even if the creator added it after you earned them.
Your course's AI teacher can read the lesson you're on and answer about it.

Welcome credits arrive as soon as you verify your email.
Deleting your account asks for a code we email you, so nobody else can do it from your browser.
A private profile shows as "not available" to anyone but its owner.
