regenerating thumbnail or choosing specific image in library

I have tried countless times to upload a specific image in my media library so that I could switch out a thumbnail for a service. I have also tried regenerating an image, and I can’t choose the exact image it’s showing - it’s choosing something I have on another service. This is using credits and not updating my service accordingly. It’s frustrating!
