November 4th Release - Improved Artifacts, Video Tweaks, and More

There’s new customization options when it comes to your AI’s appearance, and improved video creation processes.
Appearance
Settings → Appearance is new. Choose from 12 colour themes, including your own brand colour, or one of four creative themes: Galaxy Dream, Pop Toy, Rainbow Village and Felt Friends.
Choose the font for your AI's replies, serif or sans.
Pick a chat wallpaper: one of seven designs or your own photo.
See it before you keep it. Your pick previews across the whole app, and nothing changes until you press Save theme.
In an organization, admins choose the look for everyone.
Your AI buddy's bubble and detail pages follow your theme too.
Pages stay put. On larger screens, the buddy no longer covers the rows beside it, and the chat page no longer jumps as it loads.
Artifacts
Artifacts now open on their cover. The cover opens by itself in about 2 seconds. Click or press a key to skip it.
The page follows the words. While an Artifact is read aloud, the page turns when the words reach the next page, even in the middle of a paragraph.
Tidy an imported Artifact. Your AI can offer to format it for you: chapter headings in, printed page numbers and running headers out. Your words stay exactly as written, and a card in the chat shows how far it has got.
Videos
Captions, a new shape and a shorter cut, free, for creators. Ask your AI to add captions, make a video square, vertical or wide, or trim it.
See the whole plan before you pay for a remix. The price card shows the part of the video, the change, who your look replaces, the sound and the shape. If it isn't right, tap Change the plan, and your AI asks what you'd like to change.
Remixes keep the shots you aren't changing. Shots without the person stay as filmed, in time with their sound.
If the person you describe isn't in the video, your AI says so and asks, rather than choosing someone else.
If several of your videos could match, your AI asks which one you mean.
"Your video is ready" stays out of the way. In another chat, your AI mentions it in one sentence and carries on.
Pictures and avatars
"Use it" and "Not now" on your character sheet now carry on to your picture. Before, your picture wasn't made after you tapped.
"Choose your avatar" shows what each style costs, and tells you when you're out of credits.
Voice
If the connection drops during a call, your AI reconnects and still hears what you said.
Your AI no longer reads a tool's details aloud, and they stay out of the captions and your chat history.
A sentence you pause in the middle of is saved once, not twice.
Your microphone always stops when a voice call ends.
Tests and courses
The AI stays off while you have a test open with it, in chat and on calls, until you finish. Other AIs still answer.
Files and memory
Upload a file and, if you have subfolders, your AI files it into the one that fits. To move a file later, use the Files panel.
Correct something right after your AI saves it, and it no longer says the note is missing.
Asked to forget something, your AI no longer shows its working in the reply.
Connected apps
Asked to draft something for a connected app, your AI makes the draft in that app, or offers to, instead of giving you text to paste.
Beehiv now shows under its own name, and your AI recovers when an app turns down a request.
If your plan with an app doesn't include something, your AI tells you, rather than saying the action didn't complete.
Discover and Connect
Sections are named for what they show. When there's nothing to rank yet, you'll see "New authors" or "Newest courses" rather than "Top-rated".
Creator cards line up, and a long bio has Read more.
AI cards on Connect no longer jump as the page loads.
Chat
Reading an Artifact? Ask the author now reopens your earlier chat on it, with its history.
What you've typed in a new chat survives a reload.
A post's review card keeps a space for its picture while the picture loads.
